  • 1) Use the Contact Form or email Ben to get in touch. Explain your project, audience, any budget or deadlines you may have, and if you want, include a sample of your script so that a demo of the read can be provided along with a guide to tone, pace and any other helpful notes.

    2) Ben will respond with a quote and if requested, a sample recording of your script.

    3) If you’re happy, email back a confirmation and attach the final script. Make sure the script is 100% correct as any alterations after this point may incur additional charges to those quoted (see FAQ 4).

    4) You can listen in to the session and give live direction if required using Source Connect, ipDTL, Cleanfeed, Zoom, Teams or Skype. Or you can just wait for the files to arrive! It's up to you.

    5) Ben will record the full script, providing alternative reads for options and send you the audio file in any format and sample rate of your choosing, plus his invoice.

    6) If you are satisfied with the recording, confirm this with Ben and pay the invoice. If you feel that the read is not quite right, or something is mispronounced then email back with specific re-recording instructions. You only pay once you're completely satisfied with the recording.

The agreed fee is payable within 30 days of invoice via online bank payment/transfer. Payment via Paypal must be agreed in advance and will incur a 5% charge to cover fees.

Technical/pronunciation errors will be corrected free of charge.

The recording of a script that was revised after the first text was officially approved and recorded, is regarded and billed as a new project at 1/3rd of the original fee.
