A Voice Years in the Making…..
Ben’s passion for performance was ignited early on, taking centre stage in school theatre productions including The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Oliver, The Crucible, and The Prince & The Pauper. His love for storytelling and character work led him to train at the prestigious Arts Educational Drama School in London, where he laid the foundations for a rich and varied career in the performing arts.
Following his training, Ben went on to secure roles in a range of high-profile film and television productions, gaining invaluable on-screen experience and honing his understanding of narrative and nuance. This chapter was followed by an impressive 17-year tenure at the BBC, where he worked as a freelance reporter, presenter, and technical operator. It was during this time that alongside his broadcasting career, he refined his voiceover craft and vocal technique and deepened his connection to the power of voice.
In 2015, Ben made the leap into full-time voice acting, bringing together his background in performance, journalism, and production. Operating from his professional home studio, he has built a trusted global client base across the commercial, corporate, e-learning, and video game sectors.
As the UK’s only triple SOVAS Voice Arts® Award winner, recognised for Outstanding eLearning Narration and Outstanding Audio Description, Ben is internationally acknowledged for his clarity, warmth, and versatility behind the mic. His work reflects not only technical precision but a genuine passion for storytelling and connection.
